New Lead Distribution Tool

The MCCVB has a few reminders about the easy-to-use online tool that allows partners, via the stakeholder page login, to access the Sales Leads sent to them by the MCCVB (Rooms and Service Leads) and Sales Resources. Follow the steps below, which highlight the basic processes of the new Sales Lead Distribution system. They also provide some important information to remember. Receiving Leads

  • The partner’s designated lead catcher will receive email notification of a new opportunity from [email protected]
  • Use the link included in the email to access your stakeholder page
    • NOTE: A username and password are required
  • Under the Group Sales section on left hand side of the stakeholder page, select the “Proposals” button
  • Click on the name of an opportunity to access the Request For Proposal (RFP)
  • You must print or save the RFP for your records before submitting a bid
    • NOTE: An RFP cannot be opened or reviewed after a bid is submitted or turned down
  • Please respond to the MCCVB through the online system as to whether you will or will not be bidding on that opportunity

If bidding

  • Please enter at least one rate
    • The system will only accept a number in rate field; it will not accept ranges
    • No special characters (*, /, ;, #, etc.) are allowed in Rate or Comments/Room Type fields
    • Examples: Rate: 250.00, Comments/Room Type: King with Ocean View
  • Submit your full proposal directly to the client
    • Copy your proposal to the MCCVB sales rep listed on the RFP
    • Do not submit menus until client requests
  • You can also upload a proposal directly into the system
    • If the client requests no contact from properties, the “Program Contact” field on the RFP will state to send to MCCVB only. In that case, you must upload a proposal.

If not bidding

Please enter a reason for not bidding on an opportunity.
Examples: No room availability over preferred dates, cannot accommodate meeting space requests.
