The following is the dues structure for annual membership in the Monterey County Convention & Visitors Bureau until December 31, 2006. With the advent of the Tourism Improvement District (TID), this structure will change slightly. Please stay tuned for an update.
Lodging
Annual dues based on number of rentable guest rooms and suites.
Full Service & Resort
$23.00 per room/suite
Hotel/Motel/B&B/Country Inn
$11.50 per room/suite
Minimum Dues
$340.00 per year
Maximum Dues
$15,000 per year
Other Businesses
Dues for other MCCVB businesses are based on annual revenues with a minimum investment of $230. A 25% discount is given if less than 50% of your gross annual revenues are from tourism dollars. Please provide the requested revenue information on your application form.
Definitions
Full Service�Rooms, food & beverage
High Tourism Related Business�50% or more of your gross annual revenues are from tourism dollars
Low Tourism Related Business�Less than 50% of your gross annual revenues are from tourism dollars
A one-time processing fee of $25 will be added to the total
