Planning a Wedding

Marriage licenses can be obtained from the County Clerk at the County Courthouse in Salinas at 240 Church St, Room 203. The license is valid in any California county. The bride and groom must appear together with appropriate identification. The cost is $54 and the office is open Mon-Fri from 8am-4pm. Closed in Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

There are wedding consultants to help you make your wedding day a dream come true. Hotels and resorts often have consultants on board to help you settle all the details. Pebble Beach Resorts , Ventana Inn and others offer this service. Event Planning Service offers expert advice on how to create your special wedding. A By-the-Sea Wedding & The Stone Chapel, A Wedding Dream West, Life Celebrations, and Weddings by Sally can all help you plan this special day.

What would a wedding be without flowers? From large bouquets of roses to native wildflowers, Peninsula florists can suggest flowers to suit your wedding, whether it's an intimate occasion or grand affair. Mid-Valley Florist�Nancy's and Swenson & Silacci will help you choose just the right bouquets and arrangements to fit the season, your style and budget.

Local caterers want your wedding feast to be memorable. The Central Coast is known for its fine cuisine. The freshest seafood and produce plus the flavors of the Pacific Rim make the area a gustatory paradise. Caterers can also help you with other details of wedding planning.
