Marriage licenses can be obtained from the County Clerk at the County Courthouse in Salinas at 240 Church St, Room 203. The license is valid in any California county. The bride and groom must appear together with appropriate identification. The cost is $54 and the office is open Mon-Fri from 8am-4pm. Closed in Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
