What assistance can I get in planning my meeting?

The Monterey County Convention and Visitors Bureau Group Sales and Services Department offers a one-stop shop for all your meeting needs. Complimentary CVB services include: RFP distribution, site inspections, group bureau housing, registration assistance, collateral and promotional materials, dine-around planning and more. How do I get to Monterey?

Can you suggest a good restaurant for my group?

There are more than 200 excellent restaurants of all varieties in Monterey County, many with banquet facilities. View local Dining options, or check out the Banquet Facilities for other restaurant choices.

What special events are happening while my group is in town?

More than 130 special events take place within the county, including auto racing, music and art festivals, fairs, ethnic, historical, and sporting events, and much more.

What is there to do?

You'll find dozens of attractions and activities in Monterey County: the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the National Steinbeck Center, Historic Monterey, 17-Mile Drive and Pebble Beach, and many more too numerous to list here. In addition, there's a virtually endless number of recreational activities such as kayaking, hiking, bicycling, golfing, boating, scuba diving and much more. For a more relaxed visit, try taking in a spa, shopping at one of several retail areas, wine tasting within the county, or dining at any one of dozens of local restaurants.
