Authentic stardom graces the stage at Carmel's Sunset Center on September 27 when
Bo Diddley steps on to the stage for a knock-out one-night performance. He's supported on the bill by Alvin Youngblood Hart, one of the best young bluesmen around, and Ruthie Foster, a rising vocalist often compared to Ella Fitzgerald and Aretha Franklin.
Diddley is a living legend, inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1987 and receiving a Grammy Lifetime Achievement award in 1998. 2006 marks his 50th anniversary in popular music. Fans of every age will pack the audience to sing along with "Mona," "Hey Bo Diddley," and "Who Do YOu Love?"

Ensemble di Palermo e Teatro Massimo brings the best of Italian music to Carmel's Sunset Center on Friday, October 22, at 7 p.m.
