California Legacy Tours tells the stories you remember of days gone by on walking tours of the most historic sites in Monterey, ranging from the earliest buildings to the newest. You'll know what happened, the challenges early settlers faced; you'll know about the successes and failures. You'll know about the funny, the furious and the faint-hearted. Most of our story-tellers wear period clothing.
Experienced walkers and stroy-tellers Monica Hudson and David Wittrock guide you through Monterey, or, if you prefer, along the Cannery Row made famous by John Steinbeck. They can provide costumed dancers or historical figures for parties, even portable blacksmith.
They also offer a speakers bureau or classes on topics as diverse as Robert Louis Stevenson, blacksmithing, gardening, and interpretive techniques. |
