The Carmel Chamber of Commerce & Carmel Visitor Center is located in Carmel-by-the-Sea on San Carlos between 5th & 6th Avenues. The Chamber is a membership organization servicing over 500 businesses throughout the cities of Carmel-by-the-Sea, Carmel, Carmel Valley, Big Sur & Pebble Beach. The CCC promotes Carmel as a visitor destination through various media, including aggressive public relations programs, direct advertising in local & national publications, mailing and distributing over 100,000 of a full-color "Guide to Carmel" to potential visitors and answering over 40,000 phone requests for information annually.
The Carmel Visitor Center provides brochures, maps, and general information on member inns & hotels, shops, restaurants and services throughout Carmel. The Visitor Center is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00-5:00 pm with a Visitor Center Coordinator on hand to assist with questions.
