Our storefront next to the Elkhorn Slough offers daily kayak rentals and tours allowing you to observe the abundant wildlife that thrives in this sanctuary. Any day while kayaking in the Elkhorn Slough, one can expect to see otters, harbor seals, pelicans, and a multitude of local and migrating birds. The Slough is an excellent destination for beginning kayakers, a dream for birdwatchers, and an all-around first-rate place for everyone who enjoys kayaking.
At Kayak Connection we offer daily kayak rentals and private tours. We also offer a shuttle service for our renters and private tours, enabling you to paddle one direction in the slough with the aid of tidal currents. Using our shuttle service allows you to experience the beauty and serenity of the backwaters of the Elkhorn Slough.
The wintertime at the Elkhorn Slough is a very special time for those who love shorebirds. During the winter, the Slough is teeming with flocks of shorebirds that come out to feed at low tides. The crystal clear days of November combined with the sounds of thousands of feeding shorebirds, makes for an unforgettable experience.
At our location next to the Elkhorn Slough, we have a full retail store with kayaks, apparel, and kayaking accessories. We are open year round and our helpful staff is always available to help you enjoy your kayaking adventure or help with the purchase of your equipment.
