CHRISTMAS IN THE ADOBES

This community-wide event Monterey's historic adobes lit by candlelight and luminarias. This is the only time of year that many of these buildings are open to the public, and open in the evening. Most of the historic buildings are in close proximity to each other so that visitors are able to walk to any or all of the historic houses. Each house is decorated and hosts activities which match its history.
